PeakFest 2011

Thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Apex for allowing Hope's Hope to share their booth and promote the joint golf tournament. It was a beautiful day with a large crowd turnout. We were near the Children's Park and were privileged to see so many families out enjoying themselves.

Thank you to all the people who stopped by the Hope's Hope/Kiwanis booth to learn more about our missions and to get info on the golf tournament. We are encouraged by the overwhelming interest in this upcoming event, to be held on Friday, August 5th! We look forward to see all of the golfers on the course that day!

Thank you also to 10-year old Sylvia Wang for coming by to promote her newly published book, The Guardians. She sold and signed several books at the Hope's Hope booth and donated all of the profits to Hope's Hope. We were thrilled with the $13.00 contribution! That money will go directly to the families that we support. We really appreciate everyone who came by and purchased a copy of The Guardians. Thank you to everyone involved!

NIH Partnership in Research Grant Application

On January 11, 2008, Hope's Hope submitted a grant application to the NIH. Unfortunately, we were not selected as a recipient for this grant. As other grant opportunities arise, we will continue to persue them. We will keep the status posted on our website.

Chamber of Commerce

Hope's Hope is proud to be a new member in the Cary Chamber of Commerce. We also plan to become a member at the Apex Chamber of Commerce.

Strategic Planning

Hope's Hope is in a strategic planning phase. We have made great strides in streamlining our processes, structure and partnerships. Hope's Hope is continuing to forge a lasting partnership with Patty Wood and NBIA Disorders Association. Committees have been, and continue to be, selected to oversee every aspect of our business, from research and development to finance to familiy connections. We are very grateful for the expertise and time of these dedicated volunteers.
