Zach developed 100ormally until 16-18 mos old. Thats where we started noticing a funny walk. We took him to Dr and they came back into the room and told us that they wanted to rule out Muscular Dystrophy. That is where this nightmare began. We have been on a whirlwind ever since. We took him to a neurologist and they did a couple of test and looked at him and said there is nothing wrong with him come back in 6 mos. We left there feeling relieved but also thinking that it wasn't right. Over the next couple of months we went to a nother neurologist that pretty much said the same thing. Within 5 mos of our very first Dr's apt I went back to the pediatrician office crying because his walking was looking worse and worse and he started to lose the few words he did know. She said she believes something is not right and called the original neurolgoist and he agreed to see us again. We went back and he saw what we were seeing did more test and than referred us onto Mayo CLinic.
